One of five new Australian players signed by the Warriors in the off-season, boosting the club's Australian contingent to nine. This is his fourth NRL club in four years. Myles gives the Warriors genuine utility back value, able to play fullback, wing, centre and stand-off. His first top grade club was the now-defunct South Queensland but life with the Crushers didn't work out. That took him further south to Gold Coast in 1998 where he broke through with 15 starts plus two interchange appearances. With Gold Coast folding after that season, Myles had to find his third club in three years, settling on the Sharks. Couldn't crack first grade there, certainly not in his preferred centre position, with Andrew Ettingshausen, Russell Richardson and Paul Mellor all rated ahead of him. Had to settle for the Sharks' reserve grade side in the New South Wales first division competition (often featuring at stand-off and also doing some goalkicking).
