One of the big improvers under Mark Graham's coaching, he's been an interchange specialist with just four run-on appearances among his 34 games for the club. Three of those came in his 16 outings last year and he started in the Warriors' key preseason trial against Canberra in January. Seems sure to play a significant role again this year as Graham pursues his plan of circulating big, mobile forwards. Signed by the Warriors for the 1997 season (when he was used only once in first grade) after a successful two-year stint with Counties-Manukau in New Zealand's Lion Red Cup competition. Had a background as second rower and prop but wanted exclusively in the front row these days. Was named Reserve Grade Player of the Year when the Warriors made their grand final in 1997.
