Galvin was integral in the Tigers' second win of the season but went to the sin bin in the second half for the shot, which the NRL is trying to stamp out.
The match review committee has charged the 18-year-old for grade-three dangerous contact.
With an early guilty plea, Galvin will be suspended from matches against the Dolphins and St George Illawarra.
He would risk missing a third game against Penrith by fighting the charge.
