The league delivered new protocols amid the coronavirus crisis ahead of their opener against Collingwood, ordering players to avoid unnecessary contact, while ceasing sharing of water bottles, hugging, shaking hands and high-fives.

Beveridge says if players are allowed to play you'd assume they don't have the virus.
He's added that tackling and flying into each other on the field's a lot worse than singing a song with your arms around each other.
