The Tigers and Warriors met in Whangarei during the pre-season, with the Mount Smart club winning 26-16.
Tigers backrower Elijah Taylor says shutting down the Warriors' back five will be key.
He says Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Ken Maumalo and David Fusitu'a start sets so well, have great feet and are awesome finishers.
