Saint George Illawarra is reportedly demanding the NRL foot the bill for Jack de Belin's replacement if the forward's legal bid to return to the field is unsuccessful

The lock is testing the legality of the rule used to stand him down in the Federal Court, after a judge last week said the rule doesn't yet exist.
The NRL's expected to implement the rule this week, which says any player charged with an offence that carries a maximum prison term of 11 years or more will be automatically stood down.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports that if he is ruled out, the Dragons want the governing body to pay for whoever they call into their squad.
