John Morris and Jim Dymock have been appointed as caretaker coaches after regular coach Shane Flanagan was de-registered by the NRL.
The 2016 Premiership winning coach has been axed for communicating with the Sharks over player contract matters in 2014, while he was suspended over the club's supplements saga.
Gallen says Morris and Dymock have been doing a great job in the pre-season.
