Honey Hireme's found herself in the strange position of being friendly with some of her biggest rivals while playing in the NRL women's competition

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The Kiwi Ferns winger is representing the St George Illawarra Dragons, where she's had the likes of frontline Jillaroos Sam Bremner and Kezie Apps as teammates.

Hireme says it's great to see the other side of the Jillaroos players.

She says she's been playing against the Jillaroos for 15 years or so and always saw them as the enemy, but it's been great to get to know them.

The Dragons host the Warriors this evening in Sydney from 7.30, before the South Sydney Rabbitohs play the Dragons in the men's competition from 9.40pm.
